Missy She came to the shelter and kept climbing out of the fence but she was always right at the gate in the morning. She is very smart, very devoted (is always looking at me wondering why I don't speak her language), and would do well in agility. She is housebroken, loves all animals, very calm (not a JRT trait) a wonderful dog who truely just wants a loving home has no bad habits except fence-climbing really, really needs to be a house dog. All animals adopted from the Humane Society of Randolph County must be heartworm (dogs) and feline leukemia (cats) negative. All animals are spayed or neutered and up-dated on vaccinations (parvo, rabies, distemper, etc.) prior to adoption. Adoption fees are $85.00 for dogs and $70.00 for cats.

All cats are required to be indoor companions. All dogs are required to be kept indoors or in safely contained outdoor areas.

Please remember the adoption cost covers spay/neuter fees, vaccination fees, and testing fees. These fees greatly outweigh the adoption cost.
