Rita

Rita is full grown and past the needy puppy stage, but at 42 pounds appears like a 1/2 grown lab puppy. She came to HSRC as a stray, shy and scared, and is now an outgoing, active, playful dog. Rita is crate-trained & house broken would thrive with lots of exercise and in a home with another dog. Walks on a leash and rides in a car well. Learning basic training - sit, down, stay. Rita is truely a lovely girl.

All animals adopted from the Humane Society of Randolph County must be heartworm (dogs) and feline leukemia (cats) negative.  All animals are spayed or neutered and up-dated on vaccinations (parvo, rabies, distemper, etc.) prior to adoption.  Adoption fees are $85.00 for dogs and $70.00 for cats.

All cats are required to be indoor companions.  All dogs are required to be kept indoors or in safely contained outdoor areas.

Please remember the adoption cost covers spay/neuter fees, vaccination fees, and testing fees. These fees greatly outweigh the adoption cost.
