Spay/Neuter Voucher Program
The Humane Society of Randolph County Spay/Neuter Voucher program is for Randolph County Residents who want to take their pets to the clinic. We sell vouchers-for surgery only-for Sheets Pet Clinic or Planned Pethood Spay Neuter Clinic in Greensboro. Owners call the clinic to make an appointment for spay/neuter surgery and other procedures. Vouchers are redeemed at the time of surgery and the clinic bills HSRC for the cost of basic surgery. Additional costs associated with surgery, vaccines, testing, medicines, etc. are the responsibility of pet owners, who pay the clinic directly. To purchase vouchers, come to Tractor Supply in Asheboro the first Saturday of each month from 9 to 11 am. Bring cash or money order for the cost of surgery: $25.00 for cats and $45.00 for dogs. The Humane Society discounts/pays part of cost. Bring photo ID to prove that you live in Randolph County. We limit families to 5 vouchers (or spaces on the s/n truck) a year. Medicaid Clients must bring a current Medicaid Card and photo ID. Their families are limited to 2 vouchers (or spaces on the s/n truck) a year. For more information, call 629-PETS(7387) and listen to the message on line 1, or e-mail us at info@hsrcpets.org. Rescues and Breeders should work directly with the clinics. Do not call Tractor Supply. They allow us to use their building, but are not part of the program.
